At the video store I work at, our martial arts section is fairly thin at the moment (since we keep stuff like the Kurosawa films separate).
Anyway, I'd really like to build it up a bit, mostly with 70's era kung fu films. We have a few Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan films, and would like to get something other than DVDs starring them. So my question is, what would you recommend as essential 70's kung fu (not samurai) films that have been released on R1 DVD?

any Shaw Brothers movie you can find is a must. of course, many of them are pretty poor quality, so keep that in mind. MASTER OF THE FLYING GUILLOTINE is a must as well! might as well try for other Wang Yu movies if you can find them. i'm sure there will be more suggestions soon!
