The cool site may work well with ADSL or cablemodem but if like me your still stuck with a 56k modem it's a pain to load. I liked the interview.

The interview was great, but I had the same problem loading the site. TOO fancy, I fear.

I am up to the second season on the DVDs and was a little surprised to hear what was essentially porn music in one episode! I wonder if it will return! (To explain, one episode uses music which I recognized from the trailer for ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER MAN. This is the same music which Something Weird Video has been using for their opening montage. And now you know. )

[glow=red,2,300]BURN![/glow] But I'd think it was more stock music than anything else.

Yeah yeah, whatever. Go watch the opening of your STARMAN DVDs and tell me that music for their opening montage won't burn itself into your brain forever. It would be interesting to know the origin of the music used in those later SPIDER-MAN episodes.

the Japanese superhero Starman, AKA Super Giant. The beginning of the Something Weird DVDs have their strange "adult" oriented music on at the beginning. That help?

I think there was a thread on the old board about the Spider-man series, and somebody mentioned that Kraven and Chameleon weren't in it, and I said I thought they were. Well, I was just plain wrong.
Still, you can see characters who were variations on both in early episodes -- in "The One-Eyed Idol," there's a big game hunter with a bad Australian accent and a henchman with a bone in his nose, and in "The Sinister Prime Minister" there's a master of disguise who may as well have been the Chameleon. Anyway, they were close enough to make the actual villains redundant.
Not sure anybody cares, but anyway...

I noticed that as well, but I like the idiot with the boomerang more than Kraven, so it works out!
Man, these later cartoons are hard to get through.

what's odd is that in WV those later ones were the ones i saw the most of, despite desperately wishing to see the ones with the villains i love. so i like them in that sense, but they sure are bizarre.

I rented the first season disks but passed on the second after seeing the first few episodes. I don't like the second season at all.

up to the Flying Dutchman episode- i sure love this tv show. the animation, despite several of the shots being used over and over, is pretty well done.
of course, Spidey's webs seem to do whatever he wants them to, like lift and hold things over people's heads and such.
"walloping websnappers!"
