THE PHANTOM FROM 10,000 LEAGUES

i bought a three movie DVD today- "Phantom Menacers" which has this, THE PHANTOM PLANET and PHANTOM FROM SPACE on it. i've seen the other two before (and like both of them) but this movie i've never seen. i've heard of it, several times.

gotta love the sea serpent though- they sure tried hard to make something scary, and yet it just doesn't quite look menacing. but it looks cool- something very close to a kaijin or destructiod!

anyway, 3 movies for $7 or so is a good dang deal. picture looks pretty nice and the sound is good.

there's just something nice about black and white movies.

i liked PHantom/Leagues, and Phantom From Space is pretty sad, actually. i do enjoy PHANTOM PLANET also, but i have that as a fun memory as well. i should watch the OL episode "The Moonstone" before it, since that's what i watched all those years ago.
