Hey, remakes have to be good for something.
I'm just glad the remaking of War of the Worlds resulted in rereleasing the original film.
Hopefully the remaking of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe will lead to more people reading the books. I noticed that Target was already sold out of The Magician's Nephew, chronologically the first book in the series. Don't tell the ACLU that that The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a Christian allegory (with Aslan the Lion being Christ). It would just ruin their Christmas.

or the ACLJ it's full of witches, fauns and all sorts of other magical beings, they would want to burn them with the Harry Potter novels!
i'm still looking for the the Toho Kong movies!

Actually the ACLU would side with the witches. The Witch in Lewis story represents evil. Lew is not promoting magic. In his adult fairy tale the space triology magic is replaced with corrputed science.
