Bolo Yeung (Yeung Sze, in real life)
this is one wild Shaw movie. a kick boxer has to avenge his brother's injury in the ring by a Thai Boxer (Yeung Sze, being brutal). he travels to Thailand and gets involved in a wizard duel- his twin brother in a past life is the Abbott at the monastery). he becomes a monk to save his life, and after defeating the first evil wizard, he goes back to his former life.
guess what? while the first wizard is dead, three more conspire to keep the Abbott from achieving immortality. so he has to return, as his life is still in peril. but since he has broken the vow of chastity, he has to go to Katmandu to retrieve his power. this is where the final battle begins.
i've left out the blood and slight nudity in this movie, and ALL the gross parts, but be warned for some unnerving effects. nothing is that convincing overall, but you do know when maggots are real, which are gross enough in real life!
definitely one of a kind, and worth a look. just wait, some idiot will suggest adding cgi to cover up some of the movie's less than stellar props!
