This was a made for TV movie.
As a 747 flies from New York to London a note is found in the first class lounge at Kennedy Airport which claims that people will be killed on board the jet plane. The plane's captain, a police detective who is a passanger, Kennedy Airport security and a pyschiatrist in New York try to figure who could be the killer and/or who the intended victims are. Its difficult because several of the passengers have histories. The mater becomes more urgent after a passenger and a member of the crew are murdered.
The murders come late in the movie. Most of its spent explaining past relationships between pessangers and setting up new ones. Would have been more suspensful if the murders had come early and you then wondered if they're be more.
Sonny Bono is type casted as a singer who's trying to restart his failed career.
Danny Bonaduce played Danny Partridge in "The Partridge Family". One of those child actors no one wanted to see when they got older and who turned to drugs and alcohol. Claims to be clean now. "Being a child star is great. It's being a former child star that sucks."
Robert Stack (died 2003) was probably best known for playing Elliot Ness in "The Untouchables" TV series. Rosemarie Stack was the wife of Robert Stack. Elizabeth Stack was daughter of Robert and Elizabeth.
Another $1 DVD. It has biographies and filmographies of three of the cast members as well as a photo gallery. Watch the movie before looking at the photos. The last photo gives away the killer's identity.
I think I'm finished with movies set in jet planes.
