I have good news and bad news (from TVShowsonDVD.com):
Good news: the series is to be released on DVD.
Bad news: its going to be from Time-Life's subscription service. Won't be available in stores. My guess is it won't be available for me to rent from Netflix either. A bummer.

It's not quite the same as the original series, but I did get a DVD of "Get Smart, Again!" (1988?) on DVD for two dollars at Big Lots. It features music from the original score (re-recorded) and the movie tries REALLY hard to be as close to the original as possible. Of course everyone looks older, but not too much so; and it's way better than the first feature they attempted. For two bucks? It's fine.
