I often laughed at Megaloman for creating this particular forum outlet on the old Xenorama, but now I realize it has it's purpose.

I envy you... especially being in the South, where people are more laid back and talk a little slower. Did you go through the part of Kobe that was destroyed by the quake? How well is it recovering?

I did get to go to Kobe for a day and will be spending a lot more time back there pretty soon, since I've got friends there I'm staying with. The city has been mostly rebuilt but there is a a special park with preserved parts of the city and photos to show the effects of the quake. A very somber place to visit.
I'm not sure how the computer situation will be for the next few weeks so this may/ may not be my last post for a while. Once I get back though, I'll have plenty more stories to tell!
