Very nice write up. I am now intrigued to see these. I really enjoyed both of Jet's Legend films about Fong. These seem like they would definitely be my cup of tea as well.

Good article on movies I've never seen. I enjoyed Jet's first movie the first time I saw it, but after reading more about Fang Shi-Yu (in Mandarin) I realized it wasn't so great. At least the first one didn't have as much wire work in it either.
But then, I'm quite spoiled by Fu Sheng's portrayal in three Shaw movies- HEROES TWO, MEN FROM THE MONASTERY and SHAOLIN TEMPLE. Good stuff there, also authentic Hung Gar style martial arts.

Really enjoyed the article-the lives&exploits of both Fong SaiYuk/Fang ShiYu&Hung HeiKwun/Hung SiKwan have provided material for MANY a great movie.Is Wu WeiKin the Cantonese rendering of Hu HuiChien(the third anti-Ching ''Great Patriot''?)By the way-CONGRATS on your engagement!
