I have never seen either film and am thinking of checking them out. I have heard one was better than two, but would want to see both. What are your opinions on these films?

the first one is lots of fun, and i can say that even with some of the wires being used- lots of actual kung fu as well. and the story is good. i haven't seen II yet.

The early '90's ''IRON MONKEY'' directed by Yuen WoPing&starring Donnie Yen as Wong KiYing, father of Wong FeiHung is indeed a KILLER flick Chad! There's an ''IRON MONKEY II'' featuring Yen as a different character which takes place during the early years of the Chinese Republic, but I've not seen it.Also,in the '70's Shaw Bros.made a film titled ''IRON MONKEY'' starring Chen KuanTai,&that one's awesome in its own right.I'd recommend this one&the Donnie Yen/Yuen WoPing film.
Yat dan,yee lik,sam gung fu!
