for me i'll leave out INFRA-MAN just because!
FIVE DEADLY VENOMS as just an awesome movie, not only because it introduced the Venoms, but it's got a different plot than usual.
AVENGING WARRIORS OF SHAOLIN the first kung fu movie i ever saw all the way through, and loved it. good thing it holds up well! a sort of sequel to MEN FROM THE MONASTERY.
let's see, i'll go with HEROES TWO for the third one, but this is a difficult choice, there are so many good ones. this is pretty much a top pick though- the burning of the temple, Fong and Hung's friendship and the final excellent battle- just awesome all around. not to mention Fu Sheng and Chen Kwan Tai!
so, anyone else got a list?

Shaolin Challenges Ninja is a classic in all respects. It's one of the best ever in my book.

Right h'mya!(I'm trying to spell that like it's said on ''SOUTH PARK'',for those who may not watch the show )Man,David, you've made this TOUGH,but I'll have to go with the following three flicks: .''THE ONE-ARMED SWORDSMAN''(what can I say?Wang Yu's DA MAN!!!) .''CRIPPLED AVENGERS/MORTAL COMBAT/RETURN OF THE FIVE DEADLY VENOMS''(The Venoms in top form,&Chen KuanTai in a rare villainous role) .''HEROES TWO''(I was gonna cheat&say ALL the films in Chang Cheh's '70's Shaolin series starring Fu Sheng&Chen KuanTai,but I have to give the first film out of the bunch its due.) Yat dan,yee lik,sam gung fu!

thats what i don't have, yet, and it's lower on my list of ones to buy. not one of my faves, despite the pairing of Fu Sheng and Gordon Liu. overrated, for me.

Oh yeah? Hmm...and what about the final weapons duel? Is it still as much a classic as people say it is?

the final fight is pretty good, if an unusual one. faux magic mixed with real magic or not? it's never made clear.

Now that I'm more experience with Shaw Bros. films, my choices are:
1. Shaolin Challenges Ninja - still a classic
2. Fist of the White Lotus - good combination of styles, authentic hung gar, excellent villain, etc.
3. Avenging Warrior of Shaolin (aka Shaolin Rescuers)
These are followed by "Invincible Shaolin " and "Avenging Eagle."
