now this is one strange movie. it's subtitled, but full screen, so mostly the subs are cut off, and overscanned, so most of the time the subs are unreadable.
it seems to be a cross of Na Cha and the Monkey King. some decent battles, interesting effects but not very easy to follow. Ting Hwa Chung plays the title Monkey.
there are some interesting monsters, including a talking octopus thing. IT DOES TAke a while to get going though.
