Last night I left the vcr recording a late night showing of GODZILLA VS MEGALON.After that film ended another began, and the film turned out to be BODY SLAM.This cheesy and campy film is one of those cult classics amongst wrestling fan enthusiasts.Starring A-TEAM'S Dick Benedict or whatever the hell his name is as a greasy musical manager who unknowingly signs up a wrestler Roddy Piper.Soon he is touring the country with Piper,Tom Fatu, and some cheasy tamed down 80's hair band in a rockin wrestlin tour which involves cheesy music and lame one match cards.Still many a wrestling aficionado may want to check the film out for Lou Albano's biggest role outside of MARIO BROS. and for cameos of Ric Flair,Freddie Blassie and Bruno Sammartino.

it's not a good movie, really, but kind of enjoyable. not as bad as some, and no Triple H, that's always a plus. and aren't the villains Teijo Khan and... uh, someone else? i liked it when i rented the tape.
