slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2005/10/23/1275272.htmlReggie Lisowksi may not be name familiar to many of you. I bet you if I said The Crusher, the wrestler that made Milwaukee famous you'd know exactly who I was talking about. The Crusher was a very thickly muscled wrestler in an era of few super muscular wrestlers. The man became a legend when he was paired up with the very similar Dick the Bruiser. Both were ciagar smoking, beer drinking, blue collar bar room brawlers that appealed to the common man. In many ways the Crusher and Bruiser paved the way for Stone Cold Steve Austin with their common man schtick. This team held tag gold all over the place in the AWA, WWA, and Japan. Crusher was also a successful single wrestler holding the AWA World Title three times. Wrestling has truly lost a legend as Crusher personified the tough as nails, blue collar wrestling synonymous with the AWA. RIP Crusher, dance to that polka and have a cold one for me. At least you are reunited with your Wife and you and Brusier are probably raisin hell up there. www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/pictures/05/crusherbruiser.jpg
