They released Torrie Wilson. Say what you will, but she does have star value and can see her and hubby Billy Kidman in TNA.
Christian quit on them. They prsented him with a contract and gave him a sign it now or don't bother signing it ultimatum. This one is stupid. Fans wanted to love this guy, and everytime he started to gain momentum WWE pulled the rug out from under him. The guy is young, talented, chaismatic, and good on the stick. He is the kind of guy TNA can build around.
Steve Austin took his ball and went home once again. When he found out he was slated to job to the Coach at Taboo Tuesday and when he found out Jim Ross wasn't going to be put back on the announce team he became incensed and refused to do it.
Vader and Goldust both made surprise returns as bodyguards to Coach who will now face Coach in Austin's place.
Damn, there sure seems to be no direction in WWE right now. It is like they are trying to give TNA some named talent to truly become a viable competitor. The Dudleyz, Christian, Torrie, and Billy Kidman will really bolster TNA's star appeal and all but Torrie are capable of having killer matches with TNA stars. I really would not be surprised to see Chris Jericho show up in TNA soon. It seems like WWE is just hemoraging talent and they seem cluseless as how to stop it, or are just plain oblivious to the fact that they are keeping talentless hacks and getting rid of established stars fans like.

WWE gets to keep the character names and trademarks though.Plus TNA really can't get over in mainstream the way WWE has.WWE won't shed tears over midcard guys like Christian no matter how good wrestlers they are because WWE has never been about wrestling. It's been about putting on an action adventure/soap opera/Jerry Springer/comedy hour. Now if Austin decided to go to TNA[unlikely though]then you would really see the WWE panic.

i dunno, i think Chris Jericho as NWA world champ would really be a good thing. he's got something Jarrett lacks- charisma. Jeff's a decent heel, decent promo, but he's not the next level like Jericho. Jeff IS a good worker, which would help, but he's a better challenger than champ- just like Rhino. Jericho could really do wonders there.
Toree may not be a wrestler, but that girl can take a bump and SELL. she took one in WCW and it looked like she was snapped in half.
get the McManikins off tv already.

I highly doubt Jericho will appear in TNA.He was only "fired" so he could do more of them "pundent" shows and take care of some shows with FOZZY.Besides Jeff Jarrett will never let anyone else be the star of his wrestling show.

By the way, though the WWE sources claim that Christian quit,he was actually fired. While doing a house show last week a WWE official handed him a new contract right before he headed to the ring and told him to sign right away or else...........Christian refused and got the axe.He was brought in for his final appearance on this past Monday's Raw even though he was tecnically no longer with the company.
Curiously the events described here are suspiciously similar to a story that was once widely believed to be the reason for the Wendi Richter screwjob.According to the story Wendi was getting ready for her match against Spider Lady at Madison Square when a WWE official handed her a new contract to sign.Wendi hesitated saying she wanted to look it over first before signing it[apparantly the contract stipulated she sign away any royalty fees]and that's when the screwjob happened.Right before the match Moolah was approached and told to take the place of the original Spider Lady and that the shoot was on.For a long time this story was widely believed but has since been debunked.Though considering the "history" of the WWE it could still be true.

i'm no Christian fan, but that does suck for him. it's too bad Jarrett won't do what's good for the company instead of just himself. ah well. thank God for tapes and DVDs.
so what's the real story with Wendy?

According to Moolah's book, which has now been accepted as the "Definitive version of events" [though I would dispute this since she has her lips so far up Mcmahon's ass she can eat his caca and she apparantly had an axe to grind after all these years with Richter]Iron Sheik approached Wendi a few weeks after WRESTLEMANIA and said Vince cheated the female wrestlers out of money, saying they should've gotten 50,000 dollars for WRESTLEMANIA.In the book Moolah paints herself as the voice of reason saying Mcmahon paid the women what they were supposed to get, but[and this is according to Moolah]Wendi stormed into the office and demanded she be paid the fifty g's.This made Mcmahon angry and he called Moolah and told her about Wendi's upcoming match with masked jobber Spider Lady and told her to switch places with the original and that the ref would shoot a three count on Wendi. It is hard to say if this is what happens.Moolah portrays Wendi as a fame seeking diva bitch who was only interested in doing mtv spots and music videos and Vince Mcmahon as the sweetest man on planet Earth.Hard to believe such a ludicrous statement.
