I appreciated Cena's tribute. It burned me that the network cut away to commercials during Rey's remarks.Missed Benoit's words though I'm sure they'll be repeated tonight on MSNBC or on Smackdown.Triple H......how sincere was he?Was he really that good friends with Eddie or was he just looking for more airtime?Of course the real heartbreaker was the Chavo speech.Wrestlingwise I'm glad they threw out the angles and storylines for the night and did a show more geared towards wrestling, which is when Eddie was really at his best, when he wrestled. It seems to me by the remarks Stephanie made last night that Eddie was definately being geared for another title run.No one deserved it more than him.

HHH didn't seem the least bit sincere to me, far less than Shawn. i wish Shawn could have wrestled Eddie at some point. nice that he put Rey over last night. i was also impressed with Batista's remarks, since he was the last guy working with Eddie. i missed Chavo, but man, Benoit got to me bad. i LIKE the Steph that was shown there- that's who she should be on tv, not the power-princess-bitch they want her to be. Cena made me a fan in his comments and actions last night. very classy. i am looking forward to SD as well.

Cena owed Eddie because their feud took Cena out of the undercard and into the main events. At least he didn't forget who got him there unlike other wrestlers who make it big and forget those who helped them climb up the ladder.

This was one time I was glad I was unable to watch. I remember the tribute to Owen and it was hard to watch. I recently read Eddy's book and at least he got his life straight. I then watched the DVD set and have to admit to getting a little misty eyed at the end when they had the montage to Creed's Take me Higher. Damn good wrestler who overcame all obstacles in his way and found his way as a father, husband, friend and person. Eddy was the kind of guy that makes me proud to be a wrestling fan.
