Ok I'll keep this short since I'm dog tired.
RING OF HONOR is not for your casual wrestling fan. It's like going to a birthday party, seeing a chocolate cake and asking for a slice, then having your mouth propped open with industrial steel fish hooks and having the entire cake rammed down your throat candles and all.A lot of great wrestling but I felt alot of it bordered on overkill. There were more TNA guys there than I expected but Lance Storm didn't appear on the night I went,oh well.AJ Styles did wrestle but in my opinion what he did was contrary to everyone else rather than going to the point of overkill he underkilled and barely did anything that would stand out.In my opinion he charged just for showing up.He mostly stood in his corner and let his tag team partner Matt Sydal take on Austin Aries and Jack Evans nearly singlehandedly. This whized me off since I really didn't know the other three guys and Styles was one of the guys I was there to see.whiz off Styles!!!
Thankfully Samoa Joe and Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels DID give me my money's worth and the ladies match between Allison Danger, Cheerleader Melissa,Daisee Haze,Mischif,Lacey and Rain was excellent. BUT the standout match of the night was the DRAGON'S GATE special match featuring masked japanese wreslter Dragon King and five other japanese wrestlers whose names I couldn't begin to spell before I learned to breathe underwater needless to say these guys were DA BOMB as the youngsters these days say.All in all it was a great wrestling show but I am not certain I want to make it a regular thing for me.The show went nearly five hours long and being on the wrong side of thirty already maybe I am too old for this sort of thing already.Did American Dragon Danielson and Roderick Strong need to wrestle for fifty five minutes?!?!Hell alot of times the crowd that had stayed to watch them[some guys left after Samoa Joe and Fallen Angel had finished their match]was dead silent!!!I think they should have done a shorter match that lasted about thirty minutes full of their best moves rather than try to drag it out longer than it should have.
For my first RING OF HONOR event it was awesome however I think they can trim some of the fat and sugar out of their shows leaving a more well balanced nutritional meal that will satisfy a wrestling fan without the overbloated aftermath.

i'd go, but five hours does seem a long time for the show. four hours of Thunder was quite enough, despite the fun Sting/Benoit match at the end of the thing.
