Jerry wants Joey to practice his line, but Joey tells Jerry that they should do their jobs and call the wrestling match. Jerry says that if they were in ECW, he would be screaming ‘Oh My God’. Joey says that if this was ECW, he wouldn’t be working with a hack. Jerry says that Joey is finally showing some spirit. Joey pushes Jerry and then he slaps Jerry. Jerry pushes Joey down and Joey heads to the back. We go to commercial.
On Unlimited, Jerry Lawler says that he needs to apologize for what just happened. He was trying to have some fun, but maybe he went a little too far. He apologizes to Joey and everyone here. It is just entertainment. Jerry wants Joey to come out to finish the show.

Jerry wants to apologize one more time to Joey Styles. He was trying to have some fun, but things got out of hand. He wants Joey to come back out to call the rest of the show. Joey comes out and he has a mic. Joey says that Jerry wants to apologize like nothing happened when he got pushed on his ass in front of millions of people. Joey is not going to come back. He is going to show everyone why he was the uncensored, unscripted loose cannon of commentary. Six months ago, the WWE called him. He was not looking for a job because they had humiliated and fired Jim Ross. He took JR’s spot and from week one, he has gotten an ongoing lecture between the difference between wrestling and sports entertainment. He is not allowed to say ‘wrestler’ and he has to call them ‘superstars’. He is told to ignore the moves and holds so he can tell stories. Ignoring moves and holds is insulting to the wrestlers who leave their families 300 days a year to ply their craft in that ring. Because he is not a sports entertainment storyteller, he is pulled from Wrestlemania because he does not sound like Jim Ross. He was the company guy. Then he got pulled from Backlash. He called live pay per views live in ECW without a commentator. It hasn’t been done since. He couldn’t call Backlash because he was not a sports entertainment storyteller. He is sick of male cheerleaders, and boogers, and bathroom humor. He is sick of a boss who talks about his own semen and mocks God and makes out with Divas to satisfy his ego. Joey is also sick of the fans who buy into the sports entertainment concept. He says that he does not need this job and he quits.
Jerry says that they brought Joey up from the gutter but he must have been homesick. Maybe Joey can return to the Bingo Hall and kiss Paul Heyman’s ass.

All I know is I was cheerring like mad and wish I could have told Vince that myself. They are bringing ECW back so it makes sense for them to have Styles leave and bring back JR.

i don't think the wwe ECW will be quite the same as the original, but more wrasslin's always good (in my mind).
