Rocky Roman,L.A. lucha promoter is announcing he will be bringing in Hijo del Santo to Chicago for a match at the Congress Theater for September 24th 2006.Currently the main event is booked as Hijo del Santo and Mistico vs Averno and Mefisto.
HOWEVER any person familiar with lucha libre knows that September is the busiest month of the year for Mexico's CMLL and Mistico,Averno and Mefisto are all CMLL main eventers.It remains to be seen wether or not Rocky can bring these three guys up to Chicago seeing as how they will be very busy with CMLL.In fact there is also the possiblity that he can't even bring in Hijo del Santo.It would not be the first time that Rocky has announced a lucha card and then have it changed completely around.
The match is about a month away so anything can happen in that time.I remain hopeful but at the same time realistic as to what to expect from Rocky Roman.Hopefully he finally delivers on what he promises.
