I was at a Borders last weekend and in the magazine section they had this sort of fanzine looking thing called "MONSTER MEMORIES" which is the yearbook for a mag called "SCARY MONSTERS" which seems to have been around for about 12 years or so.
I'd never seen nor heard of it before but picked up "MONSTER MEMORIES" because it has hefty articles KING KONG ESCAPES, DOC SAVAGE and extensive reviews of the Classic and new KONG DVDs. There's also a lot of various articles just on monster collectibles and reprints of old CASTLE 8mm Films ads, etc. In fact the publisher seems to be going after a poor mans version of Captain Company with some of his own merchandise. It seems pretty neat and very Famous Monsters of Filmland-like.
There's a website but there's not much on it and definately not very professional looking. But cool anyway.
