"The most fantasmagorical musical entertainment in the history of everything!"
Caractacus Potts an inventor who inventions usually fail someone manages to transform an old racing car into a fantastic autombobile that transforms into a boat and can fly. Baron Bomburst, ruler of Vulgaria steals the car and his "Child Catcher" kidnaps the children. Caractacus and Truly Scrumptious, a wealthy woman who loves him have a plan to rescue them. Was the whole adventure just a father's story invented to intertain his children or did it actually happen?
My sister said that as a child the only two movie characters that actually freightened her were the Wicked Witch in "The Wizard of Oz" and the Child Catcher "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang".
The DVD has a sing-a-long option which puts the lyrics on the screen so you can sing a long.
A fun, family friendly musical.
