well, the title really makes no sense, because the "Sorcerer" doesn't o too much sorcery overall. other than that, this is a fun movie ith a great rousing soundtrack by David Whitaker.
the eville Cromwell wants to rule the known world and kills Talon's family in the process, but Talon and his weird tri-sword escape. years later he returns and the battle is on. throw in a vengeful sorcerer (Xusia) out for Cromwell's blood and there you go.
it's kind of violent, but in a weird "we need to show some blood and a few boobs to get an "R" rating" way. a little editing and it's a PG movie for the most part.
it's always nice to see a movie that entertains without any use of cg these days. the effects are all of the chest bursting kind, used sparingly. good costumes and some funny lines as well.
recommended.

I loved this one and it came on the movie channels a lot in the 80s and I probably watched it every time. I took it for the silly movie that it was and enjoyed it greatly.
How can you not love lines like "What's on your mind, potata-head?"
And the rocket powered extra blades on that sword. Just a bucket of awsome!

I enjoyed this one too. Action adventure with a strong dose of comedy and fairly decent effects.
