Some ripping yarns there- many cool ideas that were ahead of their time. I'd like to see a new collection of the stories come out. I'm thankful Arnie's not gonna be Doc, though.

Doc was the original "Superman" in many, many ways. The Fortress springs immediately to mind.
He'll probably have a revival someday.

I heard at one point Dewayne "The Rock" Johnson was being considered for the role. I could see him as Doc. He has the Bronze color, and is very charismatic and likeable. He also has the athleticism to pull of some of the off the wall stuff Doc did. Vin Deisel would make a bad Doc Savage.

i could see Dwayne as Doc- wonder if he will ever start using his REAL name. i hope they would do more adventure stuff, and lay off the cg- Doc rarely did battle giant anythings. of course, they could cg all Dwayne's tattoos out, though.

DeWayne's contract with WWE is up in March. That doesn't mean he is done, but he would work on a per apperence deal meaning we'd probably see him for the ocassional Wrestlemania. I assume he would quit going by Rock when his contract is up. That also means Vince will no longer get Producer credits on his movies as that was part of the agreement to let him film while still under contract.

i figured something like that would happen. Vince also won't get any more money if he doesn't go by "the Rock" either. like he needs more $$. didja see what the Steve Austin Hollywood thing was Tuesday? i'd hate for Doc to be too dark and serious though.
