www.1wrestlinglegends.com/crowbarpress/pubs/pubs06-tt%20%5Bsmall%5D.gif [/img] This book was written by Greg Oliver and Steven Johnson. This great book chronicles so many great tag teams. They give career synopsis and lets you know what happened to many of these folks after their careers ended. The book is divided into several catergories. The top 20, the next five, The Golden Era, the Brothers, Territorial era, Foreigners, and the National era. I owned many wrestling books before Hurricane Katrina and this is the only one I have replaced. It is that good. My only beef about this book is they have the Road Warriors as number 2. ;D I think Greg and Steve did a great job as the write ups have many candid comments. If you are a wrestling fan then this book is a must have. It is like a history of tag team wrestling and is a top notch book.

These are good books eh Dave? This duo also did a Fame the Canadians set. They rated Bret Hart number 14 and Bret showed his ass because of it. Bret was at the Thesz Hall of Fame to accept an award on behalf of his late Father. Greg and Steve were there getting a wrestling journalism award and Bret started berating them. Bret takes himself way too serious. Bret is a tool, saying these guys do no research, he obviously has never read any of their books because they are chock full of great information that could only be achieved with research. You know, I am hoping it is a result from the drugs and concussions/stroke that make Bret do these things. For as much as I like his ring work, the more I learn about him out of the ring the less I respect him as a man.

i really enjoyed both books, but i gotta say, i think they gave the LOD short shrift. they talked about the Fabs imitators- and named all of them, more or less, right down to the Rock and Roll RPMs, but could have done the same thing for the Roadies and didn't seem to think it would fun to name go over the Blade Runners, Powers of Pain, The Maxx Brothers, the Master Blasters, Skyscrapers, etc. while perhaps not as many imitators as the Fabs, they had quite an influence. still, it's really well done.
the Heels was a lot of fun as well. it had to be hard to decide, since people switched sides so often in various places.
