For some reason I was always afraid of watching any of the original SPACE PATROL from 1950 -'54. Thought it was just another live broadcast standard space opera. As much as I want to like Tom Corbett it tends to be very slow and "talky" and Rocky Jones, though it was filmed, seems like one of those end of the serial era Columbia cheapo scifi serials and spent a lot of time being silly. So those shows kinda scared me off from any others. Well I decided to watch some episodes of Space Patrol since I found some on a podcast and was remarkably surprised. The writing is fairly standard kiddie fare of the 50's but the acting, action choreography, production effects, camera work.. all of it is very tight. Every episode I've watched (4 so far) I've been impressed with and has left me wanting to see more. That's really something for me. I highly recommend it. So why did I post this in the babes section? Because the two female cast members are hot hot hot. Carol (Virginia Hewitt) the blond and Tonga (Nina Bara) looked great and had the miniskirts to prove it. Apparently the cameramen had an interesting time of it whenever they had to go up or down ladders, which is how the crew got into their space ship. I think it was pretty apparent that even though they both did a lot more than be damsels in distress and are a strong part of the crew, they were definitely there for the cheesecake. Tonga Carol Carol probably has the best set of gams I've ever seen. That pic doesn't even do em justice.

Ask and ye shall receive! I'm liking the show a lot, besides the eye candy, it's full of action that seems almost impossible to pull off on live TV. Definitely my fav of the live space operas. The writing is really good too so the stories tend to be very engaging.
