I just recently picked this up at a swap meet on a dvd from Image (like Jason lee's character in mallrats, I too love "the dirt mall" always finding neat stuff there!) and when the family sat down to watch it, all the childhood memories of watching this on KTLA 5 in L.A. growing up so long ago came flooding back.
I still feel this was soooo much better than all those holiday specials Rankin-Bass did
Anyway, the dvd came with an awesome booklet on the flick's history, voice actors, and a whole section on how Karloff did all the dialogue from his home in bed! He was very ill at the time.
Thought on this film anyone?
