i was pleasantly surprised with this one originally, as I never thought Legion would be able to move properly. I was astounded to see it in the movie.
Of course, it's a decent movie, but it started the pattern of Gamera pulling some oddball power out of nowhere to defeat an enemy.

Not as good as GAMERA GUARDIAN OF THE UNIVERSE but better than GAMERA 3.

Haven't watched it in years, but remember it seeming fairly muddled. I loved a lot of the low camera angles. Have to watch it again since I have the DVDs of the trilogy, though haven't watched any of them since having the VHS's.

Yes, I agree with Torgaman, that it wasn't as good as the first movie, but better than Gamera 3.
Legion was a great looking monster and credit Shinji Higuchi again for bringing it to life.
