Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis
Although this is a lighter adventure, no one is brutaly murdered, Nemesis is harder to play than The Awakened. Originally titled "Sherlock Homes vs. Arsene Lupin" this first person adventure pits Sherlock Holmes against the French theif Arsene Lupin, who plans to dishonor England by stealing its greatest treasures. Lupin leaves Holmes clues in the form of riddles, most of which I would not have solved without a walkthrough. Nemesis takes place entirely in London, in a more locations than Awakened. Every place Holmes goes he gets a map, but he has to walk to new spots before they appear on the map for instant travel.
Not only do you get to play Holmes and Watson but very briefly Inspector Lestrade. There are several refrences to the previous game, "Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened", as well as once reference to the game before that, "Secret of the Silver Earring". I did not notice any teasers for the next game, "Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper".
