Despite the title (probably mistranslated) this 3rd person adventure game is not really about Dracula's origins, although that is covered briefly. Dracula: Origin is a modified version of Bram Stoker's story. In in Jonathan Harker is Van Helsing's student and goes hunting the vampire. Harker is caught by Dracula, so Van Helsing goes on a quest to destroy Dracula and save Harker's girl.
Dracula: Origin is by the same companies that produce the Sherlock Holmes games. However, Dracula: Origin is missing the auto safe feature and the maps. Also its 3rd person, not 1st person.
The puzzles in this game are tricky, one particularly annoying one seems to be random. The solution is different each time you try it, even if you restore from a saved game. There aren't any mazes, timed puzzles or sliders. And you can't get killed.
Dracula: Origin is a stand alone game, with no connection to the other Dracula games, those are from different people.
