wow, this is some movie- of course, I'm late in seeing it. it was harder for me to watch than I thought it would be, though. I think as a wrestling fan the story was far too familiar to me (think Jake Roberts or Hawk or... well, we know the names).
I could do without the damn hand held camera.
Rourke deserves all the praise he got. as does the rest of the cast. and it was great to see Ernest "the Cat" Miller again.

This is on my wish list. Hell, it is hard to be fan on wrestling when we learn what a train wreck these guys and their lives are.

Hey just look at the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Espectrito II and Parkita. Their deaths are going to leave a negative blotch on Mexican wrestlers in general but in the all the minis in particular who have their gimmicks taylored to appeal to children.

I don't know that I will ever watch the movie again, though. It's really a hard one, well made as it is, to view over and over.

I guess it is because we know so many former stars that made money hand over fist that whized it all away and are just like the Ram.
