Man! These movies are SO cool! Saw them both for the first time in a LONG time, I totally forgot how much fun they are. Both were directed by Kevin Connor (who also directed the Amicus anthology "From Beyond the Grave"(1973), "Land that Time Forgot"(1975), People that Time Forgot"(1977) and "Motel Hell"(1980) What a list! Toho should've done a co-production with him as director. Anyway, both movies are super-fun with cool monsters and plenty of action. So, which film do you guys prefer?

I liked At the Earth's Core alot. I saw it decades ago back when ABC actually used to play movies. I think TNT used to run it on occasion too. I should dig my tape of it out and tun it with Land that Time forgot. Somehow Warlords of Atlantis has eluded me. I've never seen it yet. Is it out on dvd yet?

THISTV ran AT THE EARTH'S CORE a few months ago. Outside of Carline Munro in that cave girl outfit there is little for me to like here. I liked WARLORDS OF ATLANTIS a bit better. It's a bit more fun.

I have an MGM two-fer DVD with At The Earth's Core and War Gods of the Deep. Carolyn Munro was definitely the best thing about At The Earth's Core. War Gods is pretty impressive though, starring Vincent Price and directed by Jacques Tourneur (Night/Curse of the Demon).
Warlords of Atlantis I haven't seen since it first showed first run at a local drive-in. Only found the DVD in an overexpensive Doug McClure 3 pack.
Land That Time Forgot was on TCM today. It is truly the best of the McClure Hammer adventures.

I like them both a lot, it's too bad WARLORDS hasn't been released here.
as far as WARGODS, I liked the way it looked, but thought it was kind of boring overall.Attachments:
