just got this fine disc. while it would be best to see these movies in a beautiful widescreen format, at least we get these in this "tv format" that many of us grew up on.
the Gyaos movie looks nice, and sounds nice as well. interestingly enough, these are not the typical Titra voices we are used to hearing, but it's not the same dub Sandy Frank used.
THE MAGIC SERPENT shows a bit more wear, but still is quite nice, and since it's the only way to see this fine film, i'm happy with it.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with that assessment, although I really didn't notice that wear and tear in "The Magic Serpent" only because I thought it was a superior copy than what I had! And it was nice to see that AIP logo at the beginning, at least telling you who distributed the movie rather than being edited out, which I've seen in other formats.

i can't imagine why anyone would need such clarification, but that seems to be necessary for some people (no one here, of course!).
