My Wife has been in the hospital since Thursday. She went to work but her Boss made her go to the ER as her blood pressure and heart rate spiked sky high and she became dizzy. She has had debilitating head ache since. They have ruled out tons of stuff but are not exactly sure what is causing her issues. It is not her heart or lungs. She is down having a spinal tap done. They are are worried about potential bleeding on the brain. They will also check for MS as it runs in her family.

So far so good. They have ruled out any bleeding on her brain, no strokes, or TIAs. Her lungs and heart are good. They are 99% sure this isn't MS. It isn't her thyroid and all her levels in her spine are good. They are leaning towards this being Vascular Headaches. She has an MRA on her neck and if all goes well she gets to come home tomorrow. Sure she'll be on meds, but she'll be home.

Any updates? Hope things are going better for you It took a few weeks to get her a Cardiac Event monitor which she will have on for a another week. They think she has something called SVT which causes her heart rate to spike up. She has to wear the monitor to make sure it is what they think. If it is SVT she will be put on a Betaz Blocker to go with the meds to prevent the head aches. I appreciate you asking!

Sounds like they might be able to control things with medication. Hope things keep improving for you.
