I am looking for the original U.S. versions of a few Toho sci-fi/fantasy movies. The overall quality of the tape or DVD, or whatever doesn't have to be great (just watchable), and I don't know of any companies that sell them, with the exception of Something Weird Video. Basically, I'd like to see the American versions of movies like GORATH, ATTACK OF THE MUSHROOM PEOPLE, BATTLE IN OUTER SPACE, etc. as they were originally released here. Most of them I've only seen in their un-cut Japanese versions. I'm a completist, and I'm curious so does anybody know of some dealers I could seek out?

Try filmwizards.com, they have both Gorath and Battle in Outer Space. Another great dealer is Video Screams (videoscreams.com). I've purchased films from both and they're very reliable, haven't had a single problem.

i've got a nice copy of Mushroom People on DVDr... e-mail or PM me. the other two i can probably get, at least fullscreen versions.

Is filmwizards a reliable business, in that it won't screw you over on your $? I'm always fearful that something like that will happen when I buy things online.
