this was the first and only Starman movie i saw growing up (ID'd as ATOMIC RULERS OF THE WORLD in the tv guide at the time) and i was stunned to learn there were 3 more of them out there. i knew there had to be one more, since i'd see clips of Starman fighting the mutant from EVIL BRAIN in IT CAME FROM HOLLYWOOD (which it didn't, really).
the eville Magolia wants to take over the world using atomic weapons. fearing it could pollute the farthest reaches of space, the Emerald Men send Starman to stop them.
i had no idea i was getting a superhero movie when i watched this, since nowhere in the title would you think that. it was way cool to see Starman throw loads of badguys around, and especially bend the gun the kids have early on.
