got a b/w copy of this that ran the full 85 minutes, from some oddball 16mm print. never was able to finish it, so i can't really review the movie very well. i'll have to ask my friend for a DVDr of it sometime soon.

It had it's moments. Private First Class Sudo, an ultra-nationalist, is trying to get revenge on his senior officers who left him for dead after WWII. He uses a cool looking transporting machine developed by a scientist (who was also left for dead), to catch his intended victims.
Tadao Nakamaru plays the villain, but he isn't as interesting as he could have been. Same with the hero Koji Tsuruta, and even Yumi Shirakawa. She's the pretty face here, but not much else. The more interesting characters are the villains, the senior officers who left him for dead!
I really don't like the dubbing in this one, and I also have the b/w version. Now, this is one sci-fi I wish I had the original Japanese version, which I later found out is in color!
