this is the GoodTimes DVD i have. it looks pretty good, some speckles here and there. sound is nice as well. the title freezes on the screen for a few seconds, probably so they wouldn't show the Toho logo or something. i think this copy got pulled off the shelves for being unlicensed. it would have been nice if GoodTimes put the US trailer on, since they have one. strange to see Steve smoking on an airplane. somethings HAVE changed for the better.

I have both the Classic Media disc and the one from Simitar. The like the cover art for the CM disc (as with all of their covers), but both of them are no different than a run-of-the-mill VHS tape. It's just on a digital video disc. However, the Simitar DVD has the original "A Transworld Production" logo, which is pretty cool.

that would be cool. i hope CM does a good job when it's re-released, especially if they are pairing it with GODZILLA, which would only seem natural.

just picked up the NEW CM GODZILLA/GODZILLA, KING OF THE MONSTERS! DVD set, and it's quite nice. i can easily recommend this set. i'm going to re-sticky this, for new comments and such. i've just watched the US version so far.

I have the GoodTimes DVD also, and I think it looks nice, but I'll probably get the new disk eventually in order to see the Japanese version. Are they any extras on it?
