So what's everyone going to be up to on Hallow's Eve?
I myself will catch a four hour taste of SVENGOOLIE,the first two hour show will be on channel 26 here in Chicago with the second being on channel 23.The films he is hosting are GALLERY OF HORRORS and NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.Sunday I am planning on either renting some of UNIVERSAL's classics or just popping in some Santo monster meelees into my dvd or vcr player.
Monday I will probably be hitting the streetsif it's not too cold looking for a good party.
Anyone else?

Since there aren't too many unscathed neighborhoods due to the storm, trick or treting is being held at the walking track this year. They are calling it trunk or treat and that is where I will be taking Tinkerbell(Becca) and Cinderella(Mary). My neice is down and taking her three month old out as a pink leaopard, kind of cool, being part of her first Halloween.

Hmmmmm! I did some horror mazes on Friday night and got together with some people and had some hot cider....tonight I may go look at people's spooky decorations and tomorrow night, maybe put some glowing pumpkins in my window. Oh and watch scary movies! Wishing all you folks a great Halloween--enjoy it the best way you know how, and share it with friends!

Man that was absolutely the coolest Halloween. It was great, the parked cars and talking reminded me of Mardi Gras without all the debauchery. My girls had a blast and made me proud. Since all the town's kids were there my Mom started running out of Candy and the girls gave her their's so she could give it out. I tell you, kids will work your nerves and it is when they do things like this that you know you are raising good people and doing something right. MawMaw has tons of candy here to replace what they gave her, but it was still a cool gesture. I was walking around with them at first but my beck/leg started killing me and went to where my Mom was parked. She was decked out in her Witch costume and had her Van fixed up. She was cackling and did this little spiel about kids letting their parents checking their candy first. She made quite the impression on the adults and my Mom loved it as Haloween is her favorite Holiday. I ended up giving out alot of candy for her while she was scrambling to find more candy. The Red Cross once again came through as they were giving the adults candy to give out because of the large turn out. My Mom won a prize for best decoration which I thought was great because my Mom always goes all out for Halowwen and has so much fun with it. All in all a great evening and much better than I thought it would be when the Hurricane hit.

Hope everyone had a good Hallowe'en! (I appreciate the spelling on the photo pasteup. Always liked that spelling of "Hallowe'en." Makes me feel good.) I was busy running around a lot this month, but I managed to get a few things in. One of the things I saw on Halloween night was this: www.hauntinggrounds.org/I also went to an oyster bar with a friend that night and drank a beer while swallowing oyster shooters--non-alcoholic type oyster shooters with cocktail sauce and horseradish. Scary heavy metal music with horror themes was blasting in the bar. That was a lot of fun! During the month I also gave out candy and toys to various people. I handed out at least 20 rubber bats and rubber spiders! Once again, hoping everyone's Halloween was decent.
