just watching these movies for the first time in a long time. just great, as has been said. the commentary on the first one is a little too technical for me, but very good.
the doc is great as well, and covers all the movies. so glad this contains all the movies, instead of buying them one at a time. i do remember going to Tower and looking for the first movie and not finding it. glad i didn't spend $25 on it then!

the commentary on REVENGE OF THE CREATURE is really fun, with Bob Burns, Lori Nelson and Tom Weaver. i've found commentaries really work well with an historian, an actor and perhaps one other person from the industry, rather than one person talking through it, or two effects people only talking about effects.

I'm about due to go through the Creature set again, as it's been a while. I've yet to watch them with the commentaries, but probably will this time 'round.

Pray that they never have Muren and Tippett do another commentary by themselves! The "Revenge" commentary was fun to listen because Bob Burns and Tom Weaver know their stuff and it was great to hear Lori Nelson on this as well (too bad we didn't get one from Julia Adams. Oh well, at least she's in "The Making of" feature).

I showed a couple of people the "Back to the Black Lagoon" documentary and it just about blew their minds. There's so much good information in that doc, lots of great stuff to look at. Nicely produced, looks and sounds nice.
