I liked the whole movie when it first came out and saw it at the drive in. Kids will watch anything. Either that or back then I was jonesin' for any sci fi genre movies and especially stop mo stuff that I'd watch anything that was available.
I tried to watch it again a couple of months ago but it's pretty unbearable. I found myself just searching for the stop mo sequences. MST3K is probably the only way I could watch the whole movie now and even then it's hard to get through.

I think it has been something like 20 years since I saw it, and the little aliens were the only thing I found enjoyable even back then.
