now watch, another thread will show up. i did use the search function, but nothing.
anyway, what a fun and creepy made for TV movie. good script, acting and makeup effects for the creatures as well. you even feel a bit sorry for the monsters as you cheer them getting defeated in this 600 year cycle!
Grayson Hall was in "Dark Shadows"- i knew i recognized her! the DVD has some production notes as well as some unrelated trailers. it's OOP now, commanding high prices.

I remember seeing it half a dozen times when I was a kid. Loved it every time. That and the Devil's Rain came on quite often. Always liked how they put this sort of stop motiony looking effect on the gargoyles whenever they ran around.

I actually have this as a pre-record store-bought VHS tape. Doesn't play worth a sh!t for the first few minutes, but what do you expect for something recorded in EP mode? I need to find this on DVD in a legit release. It is a lot of fun. Bernie Casey made for a classy leader, even with the funky sound garble overdub added to his voice.
