I have the Alpha disk, which is pretty clear. This is an old favorite that holds up very well. Highlights are the weird laboratory, the temple scene, the eye bit, the 2 heads are better than one deal, and the overall look and feel which make it memorable. And it has some great chase music!

Back when TNT was a good channel, this movie came on 100% Weird one Friday night. I started to watch it, but got sleepy and turned it off. I do remember being rather surprised that it was a Japanese production/co-production.

i saw bits and pieces of this one night when i was a kid- just couldn't stay awake. and had pics from FM #114, the famous all Japanese issue.
that eye will live forever, and was good enough for Raimi to use in ARMY OF EVIL DEAD STOOGES.
