Our horror host, out of Omaha, "Dr. Sanguinary" died some years ago. A few years ago the station tried bringing back "Creature Feature" with the manager as Dr. Sanguinary, Jr., but he was not nearly as good. He was neither as spooky or as funny. He tried too hard to be funny. And the films they had were not the best.

never saw hosts growing up in CO- we had some kind of "Control Voice" on Channel 2, Sci-Fi Flicks, but no host. so i've never thought they were anything wonderful like some fans do.
weird, huh?
tho i can live with Elvira!

I love me some horror hosts. Any horror host (or hostess) will do just fine. Just watching a movie hosted by a "ghoulish friend" gives me a good feeling.

out here in SD they had Moona Lisa, who also was around LA in the 70s. apparently she doesn't want the clips out, so there are a rare few out there.
