That is truly great! I'm quite enjoying the new series and Christopher Eccleston's version of the Doctor. I wish he would have stuck around for a couple more seasons rather than just one, but oh well. This is also a great vindication for the series as I don't recall it winning any BAFTAs during it's original run, but I could be mistaken.

I hope its released on DVD in US so can I rent it. I know someone who downloaded the first season off the web somewhere but I don't have a DVD player in my computer so I couldn't view it. Besides, I don't want to cheat the BBC.

It's coming out on dvd over here in July-I'm not sure of the exact date, but i think it's early in the month, which makes sense , since the season ends on the Sci-Fi Channel in June. I just wish it was coming out sooner.
