Julian (as Red Morgan) Carmel Daniel .... Maria Ulof Edward Erwin .... Drake Jonathan Ledford .... Smith Norman Smith .... Security guard Patrick Cranshaw .... Security guard Kevin Kelly .... a crazed former military man blackmails a scientist into helping him turn people invisible. he plans on making an invisible army to take over the world. they need more radium, so they break Joey Faust out of prison and have him help them.
things never go as planned, but Joey does do the right thing in the end, which is kind of touching, since he's not really a nice guy.
some neat effects and a decent script make this one very enjoyable. i'd never heard of it before!

This is a neat little flick. I caught it last year on TCM. They showed a day of director Edgar G Ulmer's films on his birthday, and this was one of them. I love how it's kind of a film noir meets a mad scientist movie!

Many of the actors in the film were stock players from THE LONE RANGER show.Kinda expected Kimosabee and Tonto to show up.

Not a bad film. I didn't recognise any of the cast names, but once I saw Faust and the Major I did recognise their faces and their voices. I can't say what I've seen them/heard them in before I know there was something.
I have The Amazing Transparent Man as part of a 3 DVD set of 10 films under the title Sci Fi Flicks.
