This 50s series consists of 39 twenty-six minute episodes. Two episodes are available on a $1 DVD titled Space Adventures, along with two episodes of "Flash Gordon". The DVD comes in a box.

As the title idicates Rocky Jones is an officer in the Space Rangers, the organization charged with enforcing the laws of space travel.
He commands the Space Ranger ship "Orbit Jet". His crew consits of copilot Winky. Also tagging along are a young woman Vena Ray and a yong boy who I'm guessing is a Space Ranger cadette, Billy. In the two episodes on the disc Vena Ray doesn't seem to have a specific funtion. She's just there. Same with the kid Billy.

Escape into Space (episode 2) - a crooked businessman who has never left Earth hires a man to steal a rocketship in order to avoid facing criminal charges.

Kip's Private War (episode 7) - the young son of a man being held in the Space Ranger's jail carries out acts of sabotage against the Space Rangers in vengence for the Rocky Jones arresting his father.

i'm looking forward to watching a couple of these comp eps i have- Crash of the Moons and something else (forget the name). they look like fun.

Is this at Target? Can't pass up a dvd like that.

Right now I'm watching Captain Midnight (Jet Jackson version) which I think is probably a bit similar to Rocky Jones, except taking place on Earth.

A library which is about an hour bus ride from my house carries a few of these epsiodes and a couple of SHEENA episodes as well.I have been meaning to go sometime but would prefer to catch a ride rather than pay 3.50 to and back to take them out agoin then another 3.50 to return them.
