Robby the Robot from "The Forbidden Planet" and C-3P0 from " Star Wars" have been inducted into the Robot Hall of Fame www.robothalloffame.org/Last year's inductees included Hal 9000 from "2001 A Space Odyssey" and R-2D2 from "Star Wars". |

Don't be dissing R2 and 3PO, or there'll be trouble!  Nah, I think they should be in, as in for awhile they were the most recognized and celebrated robot characters in the entire world. I hopoe Bob, Vincent and Maxamillian make it, those Robots rocked! Where is Optimus Prime I ask? ;D |

You can nominate any robot you want,so i nominated Mazinger Z. Optimus Prime is the current leader by far with 53% of the votes to everyone else's 5 or 6 or 1 %!Most of the other robos are ones I never heard of though.

Yup,I forgot K-9 was on there.The Doctor's robot doggie was very cool.I always thought it was too bad his TV show with Sarah jane Smith never was picked up for more than the pilot episode.

That's too bad because along with mazinger I was going to nominate Ro-Man from ROBOT MONSTER. What other robot has the guts to disguise itself as a fat lumpy gorilla with a diving helmet and TV antennas whilst making flailing hand gestures and spouting odd technobabble dialogue at foolish hu-mans and it's Great Guidance? Let's see C 3-PO top that! I never saw R2 with a Million Dollar Bubble Machine! hehehehe ;D
