Starring John Agar, Paula Raymond, Stephen Dunne, Roy Gordon, Joe Besser!!, and Butch Patrick (Yes, pre-Eddie Munster) HAND OF DEATH is a neat little SciFi thriller. Clocking in at a quick 58 minutes, this tale of science gone wrong features John Agar in the lead and a gorgeous Paula Raymond as his love interest. While experimenting with a new deadly gas, Agar sadly becomes infected. The result is a walking menace who can kill with the touch of his hand. The film moves along nicely and features some really cool background music full of bongos and occasional theremin. The effects are fun, and being a 3 Stooges fan, seeing Joe Besser in this was priceless. SPOILER: | | | | | | Besser's sudden death scene is unusual and in a way shocking. His character is a bit of a fuss-budget, but also upbeat and when he gets it, it seems unexpected and tragic. | | | | | | END SPOILER I truly enjoyed this movie and recommend it to fans of John Agar, Joe Besser and anyone who likes good old monster/drive-in films. Questionable approach for the overall good... Concern for her guy Trouble man Watch it Joe! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you Megs for giving me the opportunity to finally see this gem!

Darn! Netflix doesn't have it. They've got two marital arts films instead.

i can send you a copy, if you like. this was one of the long lost and sought after films of fandom for the longest time, because it hadn't been aired in ages. i'd never heard of it all all until say, 1989.
it's interesting, but i didn't think it was that great. the good thing is that at 58 minutes it zooms by.

I liked it until the change in appearance. The ending seemed abrupt to me.
