A bad movie about the end of the world with an opening theme stolen from The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.
While the rest of the world is falling to a deadly disease four men and a young woman in a back woods cabine are completely unaware of the disaster until they try to make contact with the outside world.
Strange red lights and an odd voice on the radio are the only sign of there being someone behind the plague.
The back ground music in this film is more dramatic than anything that happens on the screen.
One character tells a story with no explination as to how he knows it,. that 8,000 years ago the inhabitants of Mars moved to Earth, and are underground. We're also not told why after 8,000 years they want to wipe out the surface world.
The ending has me baffled.
Unless you like films that nothing much happens in, just a lot of talking and a totally inexpliable ending give this turkey a pass.
I have Invasion from Inner Earth in a two DVD set titled "Invasion of Terror" along with The Black Room (1984), The Giant Spider Invasion (1975) and How Awful About Allan (1970).
