Just got the DVD from ebay, and got to watch 2 eps. The first ep. brings back Garamon or Pigmon, and was well written, and had decent spfx, then it went all cutsey and kiddie on me!! The second ep. started out eerie, about a woman who can't stand graffitti in her neighborhood, and always cleans it up, but the same strange sigil is back on walls the day after. she decides to wait till night to see who does it, and discovers it's aliens! ( ). They harass her with the sigil all around her house, and as she tries to clean it, it reappears! She soon discovers that the rooftops of the homes in her prefecture are all painted to resemble a huge version of the sigil! Quite eerie, but again, it had some kiddie moments to it. The script was good, the spfx ok, and I'm used to them shooting on DV now, but someting about the show as of now doesn't feel quite right. The mature storylines get killed with the kiddie stuff. I will have to watch more to really judge this, but these are my thoughts so far...anyone else watched any of this?

I got a chance to watch eps 3 & 4, and they assuredly got better. the third one is about a boy, who grows up to be a man, but everything in his world is slightly off kilter...because he is dead!!! he died as a boy, and a scientist (his father) is keeping is brain alive, so all he has are memories of what the world is like. Also, in his mind he is grown adult in his 30's. The fourth ep on the disc is good also, about a young girl who dies, and visits the people who were nice to her thru jigsaw puzzle pieces her spirit sends them. As the pieces are fit together, she appears to them, but only one man has the guts to complete the puzzle, and the end??? well, you watch it!!! Over all, I give the show a solid B, check it out if you guys have the chance or the time!

I have vol. 1 which you taped for me, and it won't copy onto DVD!!!! The recorder says over and over the tape is copy protected??? I also have vol.6, which I was able to transfer over to DVD... why, are you offering??? If so, I'd love the run! We can always come to terms!!!

nope, i don't have any of them either. i think i sent you my volume one, which came from DVD (could be why it won't transfer- which is weird, that's happened to me a time or two, but i can copy right off any DVD usually). i do know someone that does have them.

I watched the first two episodes (have yet to get to #3 & 4) and I liked it okay. A nice little update of the original. The second episode had a much more downbeat ending than I first guessed.

Episode 3 is like that as well Iga, and ep. 4 has a good ending. I guess I was just disatisfied with the first ep. For some reason, I don't like the Garamon/Pigmon Kaiju very much.

I have an HK disc for the first 4 or 6 eps I don't remember how many are on it. They are subbed. My disc seemed to be damaged though and I only saw one or two eps as far as I remember, the rest wouldn't play.
It didn't strike me as an amazingly brilliant series. Definitely doesn't seem to hold a candle to the original, but then I've only watched a couple eps.
